Exactly as described - we only used the platform and not the headboard, worked perfectly with our headboard and saved $$$ not having to purchase something custom. Would purchase again!

Very cute for my 7 year olds room. Assembly was easy but it's not a bed I would jump on.

I received the bed today. It was well packaged and nothing was damaged or missing. It's a little easier when you are two to put it up but it's not necessary. It looks good for the value but I can see that the slats are made of cheap pine wood and that the fabric isn't very good quality. I guess that someone who can't make the difference between a good upholstery fabric and a cheap one won't notice. I don't know how the bed will hold up in the long term because of the pine slats. The screws are going right through... I got a bunkie board to put under the new foam mattress that I ordered from Mattress Firm. It should help. Overall, it's good. I am happy with it.
