I love the look of it, minus 1 star for the challenge of putting it together and 1 star for the particle board on top. You can’t put any drinks or things on it without it bubbling and leaving a ring.

Perfect dresser for mid-century modern bedroom in Palm Springs. Great quality!

From a supposedly almost $1,700 piece I was expecting a good piece of furniture: sturdy, made of better quality wood and nice to look at. I assembled it last night and so it's too soon to talk about sturdiness, but the wood seemed pretty cheap (googling the different kinds of composite wood I think this is what I found is "Medium Density Fiberboard") and unfortunately the rails of the top drawers are not lined up, and so the dresser doesn't look like I would want it. I would consider the idea that I did something wrong, but the same problem is present in the same exact way in two drawers, which makes me thing that it's probably a manufacturer flaw. Now, I'm also awayre that we've paid it $525 and that this is not Room and Board, but in theory this piece was worth three times what we've paid, hence the three stars in spite of how sad and disappointed I am. So my point is: only buy if it stays at this very discounted price and be ready to still feel like the dresser could be worth a couple hundred dollars less than what you paid. After we were done with the assembly I was tempted to return the item, but I would have had to disassemble it and put it back in its original package, which obviously is not something one wants to do. I'll just keep it as a reminder that for big pieces of furniture cheap doesn't pay.
