The bed is very attractive and looks more expensive than it is. It's legs are solid wood and the faux leather surface feels nice to the touch. There are 2 issues that keep this from being 5-star rating for me: (1) the foam packing material was melted and stuck onto much of the headboard and side rail's faux leather - it was sticky, messy, and difficult to remove and (2) the wooden slats provided to rest a mattress on are incredibly brittle and poor in quality - I fear they will break even with most gentle use as they do not feel like they can handle much weight. Overall this bed is a good value but I wonder if it is truly deserving of having the Wayfair Verified badge, mostly due to the wooden slats being sub-par.
