I've been assembling various pieces of furniture for almost 30 years now. This is hands down the worst one I've done. First, the set all together weighs about 400 lbs, so even moving the boxes inside is a bit of a chore. This set is also much more complicated than average. Unfortunately the instructions are, at best, less detailed, and at worst, just wrong. I saw several places where pieces were incorrectly labeled in the instructions, or correctly labeled in one page but not in the next. There are no indicators anywhere when it will matter, say, which direction a piece needs to face. The best you can do is to look extremely closely and count the dots in a drawing and compare it with the holes in the piece you have. Even then, it's often not clear when a piece needs to face one way or another. You need to CONSTANTLY be looking 5 or 6 steps in advance and piecing the whole thing together in your mind, or you will have to back out several steps (I had to undo at least 5 separate times). And even after you look ahead half a dozen steps, the errors you will notice throughout the instruction book will have you second-guessing both the instructions AND yourself until it's done. I spent LITERALLY the entire weekend putting this together, and when it was finally done, it became clear that some bad quality control meant that several pieces were cut too long or not curved enough or something similar. So after mounting the shelving, it won't fully rotate either left or right, and the bed is now stuck inside the cabinet until I either remove the entire shelving panel and remove the offending shelves, or cut down the shelves that are sized incorrectly so they don't run into the sides and prevent it from turning. I hated everything about this experience. I would ask for my money back, but that would likely mean I would have to take this entire thing apart again - this would be the 3rd or 4th time I've undone several of those screws.
