I was disappointed, for two main reasons. The first is that the picture is deceptive - we have very flat pillows, not the standard kind, and there is not nearly so much headboard left on top as pictured. It looks weirdly short. Although the measurements are probably correct, I do not think it looks like the photo in this regard. Since it is a king, it looks weird compared to the size of the bed. Secondly, and more importantly, this bed SQUEAKS. I have had a lifetime of cheap furniture, including every bed I’ve owned, and I have never slept in such a squeaky bed. My husband is going to try to work on it, but he installed everything tightly and well and it’s impossibly squeaky. The good parts are the wood is really pretty, and it’s a bed. I don’t think we can get everything back neatly into a box, or we’d return. It’s really a disappointment though.
