Stunning craftsmanship, but you have to expect some kind of « imperfections » in the assembly, finish, even cracks and openings as this is the style of the item. Being a lover of imperfect things I didn’t mind, but with young kids I will certainly apply a clear varnish over it because the finish absorbs fluids and marks very easily, even to help level the finish surface!

We have just completed our kitchen rehab in our beach house and this beautiful table fit our space to perfection. I put four coats of polyurethane on the table top only. It’s a stubbing piece!
