Wow. This was difficult to assemble. It took over 4 hours as a single person. It uses cam locks and dowel rods. The instructions and labeling aren’t super clear. The edges are also very sharp and rough. I scraped and cut myself a lot. As it suggested I assembled near the area of placement so my neighbors probably heard lots os swear words. It’s mildly sturdy and the finish almost looks like real wood or a decent veneer, but I would not purchase this again because of how difficult it was to assemble for such a small item. I don’t feel like an actual human being ever tried putting this together, or they would have made some changes. Also, some of the locks couldn’t be tightened completely because have to slide panels into the back before locking the top panel on. So it has a slight gap between the top and the actual stand. This makes me believe it may become loose over time.
