This is smaller than expected and looks like it would fit well in a bathroom or kids room. Much too small of a shelf for a main living space. There were also some scuffs on visible areas right out of the box.

There was one part in the base that was drilled at the wrong location. I omitted the connection as there is sufficient redundancy to do so

I was really excited about this purchase because the design is beautiful and exactly what I was looking for. I’ll admit I probably should have checked every single piece before assembling it, but I was genuinely excited to put it together and didn’t expect there to be issues. About four hours into building it, I realized there were missing parts, along with dents and cracks on some pieces. It was incredibly disappointing after investing so much time into assembly. I reached out to customer service hoping for a replacement. Instead, I was told I would need to completely disassemble the unit, repackage it, and ship it back. I totally get it. However I work during the day and by the time I get off I wouldnt have time to ship it also the dissambling part . I specifically ordered online for convenience, so this was very frustrating and time-consuming. My first customer service interaction was also left unresolved, and I had to start over with another representative. In the end, I was offered only a 25 refund. That means I’m now out 75 of my money and still left with a defective item. If I want a properly functioning piece, I have to spend even more money to purchase another one. That doesn’t feel fair considering the issues were not my fault. I truly love how it looks, but the quality control and customer service experience were very disappointing.
