Love this desk! I looked long and hard before I chose a desk for my new office. Exactly as pictured: Elegant, French Country. Easy to put together; just takes a little strength and leverage to get the screws thru the legs into the desk. No lock for the lift-top, but it holds firmly at the height I want it when using it for a laptop. Unable to lean down and push too hard while it's lifted if I want to write on a notepad on that left side of the desk, but I'll just use the right side for writing. BUY IT!
