These chairs are beautiful! They were fairly easy to assemble since the instructions were pretty straightforward. They are definitely sturdy enough to handle someone a bit heavier. You might want to think about a cushion if using for a long game night.

I am happy with these chairs, as they are exactly as described and pictured. They are very clearly solid wood and seem to be nice and sturdy. Assembly was reasonable and everything lined up; however--the seat has no screw holes which is frustrating for a perfectionist like me! I did also add some nail-on glides to the wooden legs to reduce noise and provide protection.

A sturdy set of solid wood chairs. I took a chance on the walnut stain and they matched my existing table really well, so color portrayed online is very true in person. My husband spent about 20 minutes assembling each chair and he said while a bit cumbersome, it was relatively straightforward. Plan to purchase two more. Overall, I’m happy with this purchase and would recommend.

I ordered this set of solid wood dining chairs and was happy with the overall design and quality, but unfortunately arrived damaged. The packaging appeared intact, so the issue may have occurred during shipping or handling. Aside from the damage, the chairs themselves are well made. The solid wood feels sturdy, the finish is nice, and the cross-back design looks great in person. They are comfortable and feel like they would hold up well with regular use. I’ve contacted customer service and expect the damaged chair to be replaced. I will update this review once the replacement arrives. If not for the shipping issue, I would have rated these higher.
