This bed is a completely defective design - the slide in trundle can't slide in all the way because of the design, so it is too wide for a twin mattress and looks ridiculous. I have double checked that it is indeed assembled properly and per the design. I'm going to have to take it apart and make some kind of carpentry change to make this work... Very annoying.
