A couple of issues: A small section of the top was misaligned and stuck out - along the edge - about 1/2 inch. I was able to unscrew it, tap it closer into place, and re-tighten it. Still not perfect but better. Also, there doesn't seem to be a way to stabilize the table from moving rotationally an inch or so in either direction. There is a bolt/wingnut that appears to be for that purpose, but it does not extend far enough to secure the shaft. It is a beautiful table, but not without its problems.

LOVE this table but the top of the base is very slanted so there is no way to make the top flat. I used shims to level out but too slanted to allow one of the bolts to hold table in place. So disappointed.
