The shelves are of good/not great quality. The unit is fairly sturdy, even wothout anchoring it to the wall. The tempered glass pieces are substantial/heavy. The shelves are not real wood, which I knew ahead of time but I would have given the unit 5 stars if they were. The color looked a bit more gray in the pictures I had seen, which I liked. The shelves have a bit more dark brown color than I was expecting. The shelf material and color ar ethe reasons I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars. Nevertheless, they look nice (see pics). Assembly was not too bad but is easiest with two people and you need to be able to apply downward force/weight to get glass pieces into the shelf slots (a step ladder helped with the top shelf). I also recommend having some "Goo be gone" to clean off sticker adhesive from the glass pieces.

This was the perfect shelf for displaying my collectables. I love the glass sides and back supports which make the shelves look like they are floating in place. Also it lets light in on all sides. On panel was damaged during shipping and Wayfair immediately sent out the replacement which was much appreciated.

Shelves are formica, not wood veneers.

Very pretty unit. Works perfectly in our space. We were not happy with the directions, there were two different set of them and unfortunately we had to rebuild it.

Unfortunately, 3 heavy pkg arrived. The corner on all boxes were crushed or somewhat damaged. We opened the first one found the corner of one of the boards totally crushed. I’m disappointed have to return the whole thing. I have to say that the representative made the return process easy for us.
