The fabric wasn't the microfiber, I'm use to but it will do...I love the size, fits perfect in my loft. The shade of gray is not too light or dark...I love it!

Appears like microfiber in photos and stated as such in description but is actually more of a tightly woven corduroy blend that is not near as soft as microfiber. Seat is very firm but back cushions are softer. The chaise is large enough for two people. I wanted microfiber due to pets. Cat immediately sharpened claws on couch and caused a tear line in the fabric an pulled it in other places. I wouldn't recommend this couch for houses with cats that sharpen claws on furniture or active dogs allowed on furniture.
