I’m extremely happy with this desk. The wood top is exceptionally nice and I did purchase an inexpensive faux leather blotter to protect it from my scribbles—it’s quite handsome and I don’t want to ruin it in a clumsy moment. Good quality for the price. It did take 4-5 hours to assemble as others said in their reviews, but it went together perfectly and is solid. The factory workers did an exceptional job of packing and labeling everything. It does need to be placed against a wall rather than having the back face the room. The large “file drawer” is not sized like a file cabinet would be (smaller) but file folders will fit. It’s a small-ish desk…not an “executive desk,” but for me it has plenty of storage and I especially like having the two-shelf cabinet at bottom left. The built in chargers (2 USBs and 2 3-prong outlets) are a real convenience!
