We purchased this Murphy bed for our guest room and were very disappointed. The assembly instructions were unclear, with missing steps and poor diagrams, making the setup much more difficult than it should have been. We also found several areas that appeared unfinished or were missing finish altogether.
The biggest issue is that the product description states it accommodates an 8-inch mattress, so we purchased an 8-inch Murphy bed mattress. Unfortunately, the bed will not close with the mattress installed. The fit is so far off that Im not sure even a 6-inch mattress would work properly. Since the mattress is not returnable, weve lost money on a product we cant use as intended.
Overall, the quality and specifications did not match our expectations. I would not recommend this Murphy bed.
