The seat is VERY firm, not as comfortable as my other lab chairs, and more expensive. And in case you are wondering, Imperial Fabric is dark blue - I accidentally ordered that instead of black because you can't tell the difference in the photos. :(

Worst chair ever! Very slippery leather/pleather material. Had to request refund but only got store credit. Every few weeks I get a notice that there is activity on my AMEX b/c of this refund.
