The chair is made from very very good, firm leather. It looks, feels and acts like a typical "club" chair. The chair seat is on the narrow side, so keep that in mind. I am a 34" waist (fit in the chair very nicely) but much larger and you would be squeezed. As someone who grew up on a horse farm, I can say that the look and feel of the leather is very similar to a good English saddle. It certainly gives off the equestrian vibes! I would totally buy it again!

This is a seriously well-constructed chair. Nice and heavy so it doesnt slide around, creak, or wobble in any way. Even though I know the measurements it seems shorter than my minds eye thinks it will be. Very comfortable with just enough room for position adjustments without swimming around. Quality workmanship on all leathers and stitching.
