I ordered this Paula Deen Duckling 54” wide Down Cushion Chair to create a reading nook in my bedroom. I ordered it in the Handsome 31 fabric. I also ordered a matching ottoman to go with it. The fabric color and type match the ottoman perfectly (which I had been concerned about). Unfortunately the first chair I received had some dirt and dark smudges, so I sent it back and ask for a replacement. It took a couple months for the first chair to arrive. Unfortunately it took another couple of months for the replacement chair to arrive. Today the second chair finally arrived and, once again, it had similar spots of dirt and dark smudges on it. I was offered a third chair but had no faith the third chair would be any better than the first two. So, instead I received a discount on the chair. Even with the discount, the ottoman and chair are VERY expensive. More than I would normally spend on this type of furniture.

This chair is exactly what I wanted for my bedroom. A great napping, reading, relaxing chair. Quality, comfort, and choices in fabric and style are great. Highly recommend!

I looked and looked for the perfect oversized chair for my reading nook and I finally found it and I love it.

Fabric and leg color were correct. Chair sits firm but cushion is so tight that the fabric squeaks when you sit down. Slight creak in left arm. Just a bit of batting causing the fabric to protrude on one side. Very slight. Fabric and construction seem good overall. Back cushion is not super firm like seat cushion. Throw pillows are 22x22.

It’s very nice, deep sitting and love the quality but don’t like the Kringle sound it makes when you sit back! It sounds like a cheep plastic mattress cover!
