This chair is excellent for someone who is 5 and a half feet tall or shorter. The cushion unfortunately doesn’t extend around the front edge of the leg rest, so unless you’re short or place a pillow under your heels, the back of the foot or lower leg ends up resting on the super hard frame which will cause pressure sores quickly for someone unable to move they’re their legs independently.

THIS POWER LIFT RECLINING CHAIR IS WONDERFUL. EASY TO ASSEMBLE. NO ISSUES WITH RECLINING, NO ISSUES WITH THE LIFT POSITION. THE CHAIRS FRABIC IS SOFT AND THE CHAIR IS COMFORTABLE!! I WILL BE HAVING SURGERY SOON AND WILL GREATLY USE THIS CHAIR DURING MY HEALING PRICESS.

I love this reclining power lift chair! The one-touch power control makes it incredibly easy to adjust the chair to a comfortable position for relaxing, watching TV, or taking a nap. The lift feature is also a great help when getting up from the chair. It is very comfortable. Overall, it’s a wonderful combination of comfort, convenience, and functionality. The Darel 28.5 transitional textured microfiber power lift recliner has a gentle electric lift mechanism to assist with standing up. My husband loves this ss he can easily stand up. While designed for comfort and style, notable manufacturing defects I noted were poorly aligned velcro strip that fail to connect and weak seam stitching that is coming out. Otherwise it would be a 5 star review.

This chair has been a lifesaver! It was the perfect chair for my husband after his knee replacement surgery. The quiet motor lifts it smoothly, making it easy to sit down and stand up with minimal knee movement. The reclining position is comfortable and great for elevating his leg. The chair padding is comfortable, and the upholstery is very soft. Originally, I wanted the chair moved from the living room to his office after he recovered and no longer needed the lift feature. I thought it wouldn’t look right with our existing furniture. Actually, it looks good in the room, and we don’t have plans to relocate it. The chair's shape is more refined. It looks more like an accent chair than a traditional recliner. It’s become the favorite seat in the room, but during his recovery, he gets first dibs! Highly recommend it!
