This couch is just big enough for me in terms of back height with the neck adjusted and I am only 5’5”. I bought it hoping it would fit my partner since the product description stated the size for up to a person as tall as 5’9”. I think this product should be labeled to fit someone up to 5’5” only if you care about neck support. It also is not as comfortable as I hoped. I have chronic neck and back pain and this couch does not offer lumbar support, is a bit firm and stiff without any additional padding to support the natural spinal curves of a slender person. The seat padding feels fine but the back and neck could be more cushioned in my opinion for better comfort. I will likely return this item for something that truly fits a 5’5” and a 5’9” person with a better range of neck adjustment angles as well for watching TV.
