The quality of the bookshelf is far below what I was expecting. The first screw split the wood in the top left corner. The lip to hammer in the back panels is so thin that one came through and split the inner corner. The back panels also arrived warped and what looks like water damaged resulting in the shelves not sitting flush against them. The color of the wood is not as pictured either. The pictures are much richer, with warmer red tint. In reality, it's flat and dark.

Beautiful bookcase, great quality, and perfect for our nursery. Assembly instructions could have been better but it was not very difficult to figure out.

This is a great piece for the price. The color is pretty accurate to the picture and it is exactly the right size. My one complaint is that each of the shelves only has 3 different drilled holes for height instead of having height options all the way up and down.
