The back was a little flimsy but overall great value

Nice looking and decently built shelf overall, but the red color is absolutely not as advertised - it is actually lighter and more orange versus the dark cherry pictured in the listing. Doesn't match my existing dark cherry furniture as a result, so eclectic room it is... Assembly directions were straightforward, but no pre-drilled holes for attaching the back of the shelf - do yourself a favor and have a power drill handy.

I bought 3 of them. Nice bookshelves. Perfect for where I needed them. Only complaint is screw holes being seen. Wish they came with stickers to cover them all.

2 stars for appearance/look, and some functionality. Unfortunately the shelf depth is shallow, so larger books need to be laid flat, otherwise they stick out. MDF product with Paper laminate -tears easily during assembly. The backing is held together by tape which spontaneously peels apart, had to get duct tape to tape over the backing tape to get it to stay fixed. I didn't want to have a tall bookcase/anchor to a wall; so I set it up as two smaller bookcases - one of which has an open base at the bottom for basket/box storage. You have to align the backing parts carefully to make this work.

I purchased two of these shelving units, and unfortunately both have been very disappointing in terms of quality and stability. After assembly, neither unit feels secure. The shelves and side panels do not align properly, leaving visible gaps and making the structure feel flimsy. On both units, the backing panel does not stay in place—on one of them, it has already fallen off completely, leaving the back exposed. Even when loaded with books, the units remain unstable, which raises concerns about their durability and safety. Given that this issue occurred with both shelves, it appears to be a consistent quality problem rather than a one-off defect. I would appreciate a resolution, whether that’s a refund or replacement.
