Buffet Lynbrook James

I absolutely love this Lynbrook James Sideboard Cabinet! I actually enjoyed assembling it myself without anyone’s help. It took me about 3 hours, but that included plenty of breaks, so I’d recommend putting it together on a day off—it was actually a fun project! The instructions were clear and easy to follow, and every piece was numbered, which made assembly so much easier. I was especially impressed by how precisely the screw holes lined up, making everything fit together perfectly without any frustration. The quality exceeded my expectations. The wood is heavy, smooth, and feels very sturdy—not flimsy at all. We placed it in our receiving area next to the matching accent chair, and together they look so elegant and classy. It also offers a surprising amount of storage space, which is perfect for us since we have three aquariums in that room. My husband and daughter now use the cabinets to store all of their aquarium supplies, helping keep everything neat and organized. Overall, this sideboard is beautiful, functional, and well made. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a stylish piece with excellent quality and plenty of storage!

This piece would have been a five-star review had it not been for two reasons first the directions for assembly may as well be written in sandscript! There is no understanding what goes where. It’s all trial and error. Either it works or it doesn’t! Second, if you look at all 4 pictures, you can clearly see there is a gapspace between the bottom drawer and the middle drawer. That is because the holes for the railing were drilled so much farther from the middle drawer! I might need to drill a whole new set of holes to move the drawer higher and flush it with the middle one. But other than those two, the quality, aesthetics, and color are perfect for my needs.

This sideboard with 3 drawers and 2 cabinets turned out to be a beautiful piece once assembled, but the assembly process was definitely challenging. It took quite a bit of time to put together, and unfortunately, a couple of the pieces arrived broken. Thankfully, the damaged areas were easy to conceal during assembly, so the finished product still looks great. The design is what really makes this piece stand out. The fluted detailing gives it a sophisticated, elegant look, while the gold knobs and handles add a touch of luxury. I am currently using it as a TV stand, and it fits perfectly in my space. The 3 drawers are a decent size and provide convenient storage for remotes, electronics, and other everyday items. The 2 cabinets each include a shelf, offering additional storage space. I also appreciate that the cabinet doors can be adjusted for a soft-close feature, making them quiet and smooth when shutting. Another nice feature is the adjustable feet on the bottom, which make it easy to level the unit on uneven floors. Despite the difficult assembly and the broken pieces upon arrival, the final result is a stunning and functional piece of furniture.
