Chairs are uneven. They gave discount. Other than that it’s a beautiful set.

The table color seems darker to me than in the picture but it was a happy surprise for me since I prefer darker wood colors. The table also has a lot of stylistic marks on it to make it look a little beat up which I did not notice in the picture but I like it. The bench unfortunately does not easily slide under the table. If you try to push the bench straight in, the table legs block it from sliding under, so you have to turn the bench sideways to store it under the table. Honestly I think it’s pretty ridiculous that you would make a table with a bench that cannot easily be pushed underneath. It seems to me that there is only a slight adjustment needed to the design to allow the bench to slide under easily. Ultimately the pictures and description did not say the bench would slide under easily, I was just hoping it would because why wouldn’t you make it that way? We decided to keep the bench stored away in a closet and we’ll pull it out when we have extra guests. The color of the chairs is absolutely beautiful and it’s the main reason we selected this set. My husband had no trouble building it and everything looks good and feels sturdy. Ultimately we are happy with this purchase.
