Actual garbage. First, I have to accept some degree of responsibility because I don’t know why I even give Wayfair the time of day anymore. I’ve tried different pieces of furniture over the years, and maybe 10 is ever worthwhile. From memory, I can recall ONE item that wasn’t cheap garbage. I’ve literally had chairs break UNDERNEATH ME (I’m 5’4, 150lbs for reference), so to say I’m at my wits end is an understatement. With this cabinet, I don’t even know where to begin. Despite being well packaged (surrounded by styrofoam on all sides, I was surprised), the pieces came with various knicks, gashes and damaged corners (some of which shown in pictures 3 and 4). The piece was easy to put together, and on both the item itself and the directions, it states to lift upright with two people so you don’t risk the legs breaking. As a result, I cannot express how gently I handled this item. When delicately scooting it back less than 14”, a leg broke off (picture 5 and 6). When installing the final plastic spacers in the back with the tiniest screws, the side panel started to split with barely any pressure or contact (photo 2). The doors themselves don’t line up, and are attached with plastic, spring loaded hardware— not a hinge in sight. The shelf brackets literally fall out of the holes, so have fun fighting that step for a good 5-10 minutes. Finally, as I would imagine everyone does, I gave the assembled piece a wipe down wet paper towel. One swipe and the lip of the top surface turned the paper towel black. I expect some degree of dust or gunk from manufacturingpackaging, but this is insane. One swipe, BLACK gunk. From a sketchy marketplace furniture find Sure. A brand new item Absolutely not. The anchoring hardware included (flimsy hardware and a zip tie) has to be a joke, not to mention a HAZARD. This thing can’t even handle a teeny tiny screw to hold a weightless plastic piece in the back, I don’t expect it to handle any size screw intended FOR ANCHORING AS A SAFETY FEATURE FOR CHILDREN.

I was looking for an entryway cabinet that had some warmth and texture without spending a fortune, and this ended up fitting my space really well. Once styled, it honestly looks much more expensive than I expected for the price, and I’ve already gotten compliments on it. Assembly was mostly straightforward, but one of the legs had been manufactured incorrectly and I had to partially disassemblerebuild it to get it attached properly. The screw insert was basically upside down, so there was no way to install it correctly without fixing it first. It did cause a little damage to the leg during the process, although thankfully you can’t really see it once everything is assembled. That issue is the main reason I’m giving 4 instead of 5 stars. Overall though, I still really like the piece. The wood tone and fluted texture add a lot of character, and it works especially well in an entryway or hallway space.

End product perfect for what I was looking for. Not the highest quality furniture but super easy to assemble - just have to be careful not to splinter the particle board when putting pins in. This holds our entire DVD collection, our headphones, iPads, and extra electronic accessories. I’m happy with it

This credenza is the mid-century style that I was looking for, and it looks just as pictured. I was a bit concerned it might look or feel cheap, but the quality actually exceeded my expectations—it feels well-made and looks great in the space. Assembly was surprisingly easy, which was a nice bonus. The size works well in terms of length and height, and it fits nicely without overwhelming the room. One thing to keep in mind is that it’s not very deep, so larger plates or round items won’t fit flat inside. I do wish it had a few extra inches of depth for added storage flexibility. The doors close with strong magnets, which keeps everything secure and gives it a clean look. Overall, I really like the design and quality, and it’s a great piece if the depth works for your storage needs.

Overall is a nice cabinet, but I don’t love the color on the fluted panels. Good size and quality though.
