Chaise d'appoint Mid-Century avec coussins

I found this armchair to be very beautiful and comfortable. It is suitably sized for people of various weights and is a real pleasure to sit in while watching TV or reading a book. I thought it was a nice touch that it comes with two small wheels on the legs, making it easier to move around when you need to clean underneath. My only reservation—honestly—is that I expected the color to be a bit darker. Since I have a baby and a dog, I’m not sure how long it will hold up in this color in my home; even with careful maintenance, the fabric seems like the kind that will show dirt very easily.

It is as pictured, but not as plush as I was expecting. The fabric is a creamy white, and somewhat shiny, though stain resistent. I wish it was closer to a linen look but for the price I’m happy to live with it

When the giant box arrived, I realized that the chair I had purchased was vacuum packed. That made me worry that the chair was going to look like something that should really belong in a child’s room. It couldn’t possibly be sturdy or special. WRONG !!!!
