First time purchasing something came damaged still waiting for a reply on what will be done. Definitely not happy with this purchase Update: Extremely Disappointed 3 Damaged Deliveries and Poor Resolution This was my first (and probably last) experience ordering from Wayfair, and I genuinely regret it. I ordered a dining room table that arrived damaged on two corners. I contacted customer service, and while they were polite, the replacement they sent arrived even worse , damaged on three corners. Still trying to give them a chance, I spoke with another representative who promised that the third table would be handled more carefully, better packaged, and even set up by someone professionally. Guess what? The third table came damaged too, with two more busted corners. At that point, I explained that this product really should be delivered by two people, because it’s clearly too heavy for one person to handle without dropping it. But that fell on deaf ears. I asked for a 50% refund due to the continued inconvenience, not to mention a repair estimate I received was $480. After some back-and-forth negotiations, they said they’d refund $400 just to close this out and let me move on. That was frustrating enough. But then I get the final notice and of course it’s not $400, it’s $399.43. Seriously? At this point, I’d rather they just take the product back. But that was never even offered. I’m left with a damaged product after three attempts, a half-hearted refund, and a clear sign that Wayfair doesn’t stand behind the condition of what they ship especially large, heavy furniture. Buyer beware. Wayfair may offer trendy products, but if something goes wrong especially more than once don’t expect real accountability.
