This is a very comfortable recliner. I tried to assemble it myself because I thought it wouldn’t be a problem, but one of the metal parts on the sides of the chair was improperly placed, but it was taken care of when the person to assemble it came.

Chair is ok, but reclining mechanism is goofy. You have to recline the back almost fully before the legs start to raise. Legs first would be much better. We use it as a swivel chair. The width is nice to share with our puppy.

The head area is uncomfy no support. I made a mistake with ordering power recliner because of the emf exposure not good for your energy.

I really like these recliners! Swivel and rocking motion is smooth. Love the color of fabric and soft to touch. The only thing that is not good is the reclining mechanism does not let you put the footrest up separately. You have to be almost totally reclined for your feet to be up.

**Put arms on first!*** If you accidentally put the back on first as we did - The way to remove it is to pull the tabs OUT and slide up, not push in!** The first 2 pages of the instructions stuck together so I thought the first step was to put the back on! And as many people have said, this chair is amazing! The fabric is a faux soft leather sateen feel - super nice, but be prepared, it will probably be dirty in no time! The electric footrest is wonderful but it’s good to know in advance that the button to lift the footrest is inside of the arm at seat level, so you have to shove your hand in and feel around. And be careful as the metal brackets where the arm rests slide in are sharp, so if you’re feeling around too hard you might get nicked. Would much prefer to have the buttons on the outside. Only other smidge complaint would be that you can’t adjust the back rest and foot rest separately. Everything moves together toward a lay flat position and cannot be adjusted, kind of an all or nothing type of use. But it is very comfortable for a loved one who needed some lumbar support.
