Love this island. We chose to use it on our deck. Its stores everything and more for our outdoor parties. It only took my husband 4hrs to assembly (and hes pokey - I mean meticulous). Its beautiful and functional. We hope to enjoy it for many years to come.

I could not be more pleased with this purchase. I recently moved into a rental that has an awkward layout for cooking and this solves the problem beautifully. The leaf is just perfect, allowing more space for food prep but with the option to stow it away to keep the walkway open. From the time I opened the box, including organizing and verifying all the parts, it took 3.5 hours to assemble, plus another 20-30 min for final adjustments, removing stickers, and disposing all the packaging. One of the hardware packets was mislabeled. The instructions were mostly clear with a couple confusing spots. At the end one of the drawers wouldn't slide in all the way so I had to adjust the sliders to a different hole than instructed. I didn't need (or like) the bulky spice rack so I filled the holes with nail hole filler. As other reviewers have commented, it is definitely a tip hazard with the leaf open when the cabinets are empty, but once I put heavier stuff inside the whole thing stabilized. I agree the back side (leaf side) of the unit would look nicer with a more finished appearance but it doesn't bother me since it faces away from the entrance. Luckily the delivery person delivered the box right to my door where I could drag it inside - I'm a petite woman and it weighs 100 lbs, so I wouldn't have been able to get it inside otherwise. The part that was supposed to come with the island, one of the little black pole was to short. The bar that holes your spices on the side or your towel. On the right, of the picture, I needed the replacement part. I ask for a placement part.,I don’t need this. This is the part that hold your extension counter top, I didn’t ask for this.I am done. I will just have to do without it. I am just mentally exhausted fooling with Wayfair. The communication is awful. There seems to be a lack of communication. Seems like know one work together. Update,,I have change the rating to a two. I never did receive the replacement part as the person on the phone assured me that I would receive it asap. I am done.

I purchased this solid wood kitchen island through Wayfair Products Verified, and honestly I thought it was going to be a nightmare to assemble because of all the rails, drawers, and amount of pieces included. Surprisingly, it was actually pretty easy to put together. The pre-made holes were perfectly aligned and all the instructions were very clear. I had seen some reviews saying the assembly process was terrible, but that wasn’t my experience at all. I think this has been the biggest furniture project I’ve done because of the number of pieces, but overall the process was smooth and easy to follow. I’m definitely not disappointed with this purchase. My only concern is the back panel of the island since it feels super thin compared to the rest of the structure. Other than that, the island feels sturdy and great quality overall.
