To begin, the "overall dimensions" in the listing are not accurate. The length is only for the bed section, it does not include the wardrobe or bookshelf sections. Refer to the image for a slightly more accurate breakdown. I probably should have realised, as it is listing the length of a twin mattress as the overall length, but I didn't notice. Now my furniture doesn't fit right in my room, so that sucks. The actual finished length, overall is 100.5". After that, the instructions are not great. I'm generally quite adept at putting together flatpack furniture. This one vacillated between normal ease and wildly difficult. Sections of it have had pages stapled over, or stickers applied to change numbers, which suggests to me that they ave already corrected several issues and still aren't putting the effort needed into making them properly. The bookshelf in particular is annoying, as they want you to put some parts together where they are being held up by one central cam lock while you get side pieces on. Not really feasible. Had to put it together in a completely different way in order to have all parts properly supported. Could probably do it with two people, having one hold things, but that wasn't an option for me. Next issue is that several of the parts were mislabeled. I was able to work out which part they meant, but it added unnecessary confusion. The added picture shows a part labeled 25-- this is part 12. I'm not entirely confident in the lamination of the bed slats they provided. Since I'm not using the trundle section as a bed, but instead a storage area, I used two of the slats from it to add extra support to the main bed section. Still think I'll end up replacing them within the year, or at least adding a sheet of plywood at the same time I add one to the trundle. They provide ZERO backup hardware. If you drop a screw or dowel, make sure you find it, because there are NO extras of any part. I don't typically need the backup hardware, but I don't like the lack of security in not having any. Worst issue, however, is that i wasn't sent enough of one of the bolts-- I'm shy by 4. Thankfully for me, I could leave them off the back braces of the wardrobe for now, as they are supportive and not load bearing, so at least I could use my bed last night. I've reached out for replacement, hopefully that goes smoothly. That all said, it's a nice enough bed. If you're willing to put up with the struggles, it's a reasonable price. I wouldn't buy it again, but because I am handy enough with tools and such to fix it up to what I need, it isn't bad enough that I would return it.
