This was one of my worst assembly experiences: 3 out of the 8 legs were impossible to screw in, and the drawers are not aligned, creating a gap, with the holes not level. I do not recommend it for the price paid. I

It is exactly the style I was looking for. However, it was an open box item that can with missing parts. Literally, some panels were missing. I had to ask a friend to make me those parts, so we can put this together.

So we were worried about pulling the trigger on these given the numerous bad ratings, but in the end I'd say we're happy with the purchase. Yes one box didn't include the cheap back plate that really isn't necessary, many dowels are loose in holes, there are no pilot holes drilled for many steps which makes installing the screws a tough job...but with care they both assembled fine. The instructions were clear enough to follow. My advice would be (1) push down hard with your Phillips screwdriver to make sure the screws start threading when there's no pilot hole, (2) use a hex wrench that's at least 4-inches long (as opposed to the fee zig-zag one they include) to install the legs as it greatly reduces the effort required (<30 seconds per leg), (3) and make sure to hold the metal posts (that the cams grab) nice and perpendicular when screwing into the holes and don't use a drill until you've got them reasonable threaded into the wood and (4) as one reviewer warned, use the lightest torque on your drill clutch if you choose to use a drill. Second assembly took just over an hour.

DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT. IT IS HORRIBLE. The "solid" wood is garbage. One of the side panels came with half of the holes pre-drilled on the outside! There was no way to rectify as even drilling new holes would leave 5 holes showing on the side of the nightstand.
