Very firm and supportive. Just what I was looking for! The color is a little more muted in person which worked out better with the rest of my decor.

This is a pretty stool, great fabric and comfy but way too deep a seat cushion therefore didn't work for us unfortunately. I wish I had realized how deep this seat was before purchasing. I write this review to notify anyone else looking to purchase so you are aware of the size.

Beautiful chair, solid and well built. Assembly was simple.
