Crafted with strong wood and a clean finish. The padding is firm and supportive, and the upholstery seems easy to keep clean so far. Step 1 in the manual says to assemble the front and back side rails with the middle rail (parts D,E,F) but the rails only fit when I positioned them in the chair leg cutouts first before installing the screws. Assembly took a while, but I expect it to be a durable chair.
