This arrived rolled up and was easy to unroll. It was a hot day and the mat was warm and unrolled and stayed flat right away. I could see how it would be different if it was a cold day and the mat was cold. It does the job of keeping my chair moving without damaging the carpet under the mat.

I WAS SCEPTICAL TO BUY DUE TO SOME REVIEWS BUT GLAD I DID. GREAT QUALITY AND ALL WHAT I EXPECTED. NO PROBLEMS AT ALL UNROLLING. PUT IT RIGHT ON THE FLOOR UNDER MY CHAIR AND ROLLED ON IT A COUPLE TIMES AND FINE. I WOULD RECOMMEND LEAVING IT IN A WARM AREA FOR A DAY IF YOU HAVE TROUBLE. MINE WAS IN THE SUN SO VERY PLIABLE. WOULD DEF SUGGEST THIS PRODUCT!!
