Putting this together is for sure a two person job, and it took about two hours altogether. It’s really nice quality, makes our living room feel a bit more elevated with our old couch, and makes lazy dinners away from the dining table easier with the top lifting up. Would recommend.

This is a really nice piece of furniture. Assembly will take a couple of hours, but the instructions are clear and pieces nicely labeled. The table is made of quality material and when fully assembled, is quite heavy and solid. The top does come up to work as a table tray, although it does feel a bit wobbly when bringing it up and down. The unit comes with a built in outlet, however depending on where you place this, it may be a challenge to connect to an external power source. Overall, very happy with this coffee table.

This took me almost 3 hours to assemble (ugh) and it was similar to other assembly required pieces. When all assembled it is quite heavy and seems pretty sturdy. Some of the pros are that there is a ton of storage, electrical built in (although must plug into an outlet), all the parts were very well labled and the holes all lined up. The cons were the amount of assembly required and time it took, there was a fairly good size scratch on a side panel that shows, the grooves for the sliding doors are a stark light wood color instead of painted black so it stands out a bit, a couple pieces are a little thin (interior pieces) and the top while easy to open and close, is not super steady (I would not open/close with anything on top that can tip). Honestly though, I would buy again a its a nice looking piece.

This farmhouse coffee table with a lift by Rosalind Wheeler is a very nice coffee table. I love that it comes with a built in power outlet, although it needs to be near a plug which is often difficult if the coffee table is in the middle of a room ( so we are not using that function). The lift works well, but it is not sturdy or strong enough to hold a lot of weight. It was a chore however to assemble. It took a good 4 + hours for myself and my husband to assemble it, it was not easy, the instructions were not easy to follow. However, with that said, it is a good looking coffee table.

This thing was a pain to put together. Instructions were awful, table seems pretty solid, came in really good packaging. When raising the table up, the table seems like it is trying to get off balance and wobbles. It holds a lot of weight great for sitting on the sofa and eating or getting on computer. Overall for the price, I think it was a good purchase. It will hold up for while. It goes down slowly which is good for small fingers but you still have to be careful around toddlers if they try to play with it.
