Assembly was straightforward, involving only 10 individual pieces that required screwing together. It took me less than an hour to complete the setup. I am very pleased with the quality and overall appearance of this stand.

Very nice! Very easy to assemble and came with all the parts. Took my handyman about 40 minutes to put together. Mostly because one of the end pieces came the screw holes stripped (see pics with red circles) which he was able to partly repair with plastic wood filling. That’s the reason for the 3 Star review. Problem now is those shelves on that side are not equal or flush but I’ll work around it. It would have cost too much to return for a replacement. Otherwise it’s a lovely piece and has tons of storage. It replaced the smaller brown shelves with baskets you’ll see in the photos. You’ll see If you use it for media, it does have holes behind the shelves on both sides for cords. The doors close flush and are easy to open and close. Little warning, this piece is heavy! Well packed when it came but moving the box was a bear! Have some help unless you can lift heavy and large boxes.

The first shipment of this item resulted in a pice being defective, as you can see in the photos. The problem of defective it missing parts is unfortunately a common problem with Wayfair items, however, they have a very efficient parts replacement system online and it’s fairly easy to order and receive replacement parts. Most of the time, we have to wait for the part with the item half-built, which is not ideal, but the problem is usually resolved within a week or two. This time, however, Wayfair sent an entirely new piece of furniture And guess what! The same problem we had with the first shipment happened with the second shipment! The same piece was defective! Seriously! Not only would it have been more cost-effective to just send the replacement part, but now I have TWO pieces of furniture, both of which have the same problem. We were able to rig it up to make it work, but someone really needs to be aware that Quality Conteol was nonexistent for this item, and resolve the issue at the warehouse promptly. Because customers don’t deserve to wait around for over a week only to receive a replacement part or replacement item that is also defective. Super frustrating and disappointing Wayfair allows these types of companies to sell furniture through their company.
