These are great shelves, especially forctge sale price. The backing is 5 individual pieces of wood, I wish it was one solid piece instead, but after it's all together it looks great. I put them together by myself, but admittedly there were a couple of times when an extra pair of hands would have made it easier.

Bookshelf is exactly as I expected, however, the directions were lacking. Fortunately, I went online and downloaded directions from the Wayfair website, and they were much better directions than what was included in the box.

This bookcase came out beautiful. The quality is great too. The only negative part was two of the screws were not able to go in on top of the shelf. It arrived a day early.

Perfect for my living room!
