Absolutely gorgeous bed! This was a pricy purchase to make without seeing in person. So I was a little worried about the quality. It is so well made and very heavy. I cant stand a squeaky bed when you climb into it! No sound and no movement even when my child dive bombed into it! I would not hesitate recommending this to anyone. Notes on assembly. It is super easy to put together. The side rails are a little difficult because you are tightening the bolt from the side. But over all not difficult at all. I put it together (yay girl power) with the help of my 10 year old daughter. You will need someone to give you a hand to hold the back board as you assemble it. And possible the second hand with lifting to get it out of the box! I slide the box to my bedroom before unpacking. If I didnt, I would have not been able to carry the headboard thru the house! With 2 sets of hands you should have no problems assembling!
