I got the end table to add to my coffee table. I love the scalloped edges on the marble top and the base has a lovely design. It was very easy to assemble- just screw in each leg with 2 screws. I had a couple of water stains on the coffee table in this collection so use a coaster. Beautiful and sophisticated- highly recommend.

At this price point, you really expect perfection, in which case, the end table that I received fell short. The specs indicate that the base is made of resin. I cannot tell that it is solid wood so I assume resin it is. It has a lovely creamy white pearl sheen and the carved legs and frame beneath the marble top are nicely done. The only assembly required is attaching the legs. It came with a wrench to turn the hex bolts, but since they were Philips head, I opted for the drill because the arthritis was not having it. Each leg had 2 bolts, with a flat and a lock washer each, so they are very stable. One of the legs has a small gap whereas the others are flush against the base. I even tried it on a different corner without luck. Fortunately it is not seen from a sitting or standing position, so it is of least concern. The generously sized 26x26 top is marble, but is not a solid slab. It is composed of small bricks, which are polished to a seamless, mirror shine. The scalloped ogee edge is a honed finish and shows more delineation of the bricks. This may have cleaning implications long term, with dust getting trapped between each piece. The marble color is described as a grey wash in specs but I think it is more beige and taupe, still rather cool toned. I thought grey would have given more contrast, but I am still happy with how the matching tables go with the rest of my new living room. My biggest problem is that the color and pattern of some of the bricks are different from others. Some are a darker taupe with a lot of variation, while most are a lighter beige without as much veining. Each type were all grouped together rather than interspersed, which makes the difference stand out in an unflattering way. I marked them in one of the pics. This unfortunate layout, particularly in light of the price, are why I withheld two stars. Finally, this wasnt specified and I had no expectation, but it does lack any drawers. I tend to prefer a drawer for remote controls and other handy things that are not worthy of display. I am not holding the absence of a drawer against the rating. Full disclosure As a member of the Tried and True program, I received this product gratis to evaluate in exchange for my candid and detailed review. I hope this review helped you decide if this piece is (or isnt) The One for you. Please let me know by tapping the Helpful button below. Good luck in your search for the perfect end table!

This side table is so elegant and beautiful. My husband, who could care less about furniture, was so impressed that be wanted everyone to know how much he loved the table. The colors in the picture are a little lighter than the actual piece, but I love that. There is a pearlescent finish to the base of the table and the marble is slightly warmer. It is gorgeous.
