This item is not very well built and out of the 4 I ordered, only 1 was not damaged enough to use.

Item is heavy and seems sturdy. The true color is darker than image appears. Seat pad is linen wrapped foam and feels cheep. My item arrived in a damaged box, and item itself was damaged on front corner. Wayfair provided excellent customer service and provided remedy options on item due to the damage incurred in shipping.

I should have been more careful in ordering an item that had no reviews. The description indicates made of wood - - and I, based on the price, assumed it was solid wood. (Since my original purchase I saw an ad for the same bench priced at $375 on another site!) While I love the design, 2 drawers and 2 doors, the drawers are pressed wood and do not slide in and out as I would have hoped. Unfortunately, the bench also arrived damaged and Wayfair provided a full refund.
