My 11 year old loves this. The cat is also a fan. The material isn't the softest but it seems pretty durable. Putting the cover on was pretty simple except wgen the zipper got stuck. Overall, I would definitely purchase this again.

Got a kiddo going off the college in a couple of months and she loves this very sturdy foam chair! It came shrink-wrapped and compressed but it’s weighty because it’s so sturdy once it’s at it full size. She thinks it’s a little big but still plans to squeeze it in their dorm room she loves it so much!

The chair itself seems to be made pretty well. My son tested it briefly and said it's "kind of" comfortable. For myself, I noticed the foam sank significantly when he sat (we have another chair like this from another brand, and it doesn't do that). I worry that it's going to distort and sink overtime. The material is a scratchy, dirty looking material. I have other boucle style pieces, and they don't feel like this. The material feels very cheap, very uncomfortable to touch. And the cover doesn't come already attached. For someone with (even minor) dexterity issues, this is a pain to say the least. For the price, I do not feel this is a good value, nor would I recommend.
