Great little bookcase (ordered the 4-shelf). Very solid and already has a nice finish but plan to add a clear coat varnish for protection.

Sturdy construction, pretty easy to assemble, would recommend a drill to make pilot holes to attach the backing boards to the shelf at the point where they meet. I tried just screwing it in and went crooked. Fortunately I didn’t split the shelf board. Great color, suits the space admirably.

Solid wood for the most part. Easy to paint.

So proud of my new bookcase! Just the right size to put under our TV. I stained it dark and I'm using it for family pictures, books, and the grandkids toys (in baskets). It stained really nice. I did most of the assembling myself, with a little help from my husband. I was very satisfied with delivery.

This is actually the best piece of furniture I have bought from Wayfair. It is completely solid wood, no particle board, except the backing (but I’m going to paint it) It is extremely heavy. My husband couldn’t have built this for the price. I had no issues with damage, except I saw the FedEx guy just throw the box on my lawn but believe me I let him have a piece of my mind and that isn’t Wayfair’s fault. Very satisfied.
