Table basse Mar Vista

This coffee table would be rated 5 stars - but only after all I have had to do to make it functional! When it arrived, the first issue was that it was significantly lighter than any of the picture I saw online. This wasn't a deal breaker but I did add some stain to make it match my other furniture. The other issues was how low it was on the floor! I will admit I didn't look at the height measurements as closely as I should have when ordering, but that said, why is is so low to the ground?? I added 4.5" wooden legs to the bottom and stained them a dark finish. It now sits up at the appropriate height for a common coffee table. Additionally, I added glass to the top of the table for added weight and stability. I can only give three stars because for the price paid, this table should have come the way I fixed it up to be...

I really love this table. I added a glass top (purchased separately) and that really completed the look.

Perfect, light, easy to move yet sturdy.
