Instable et fragile.

Overall, I like my bookcase and after assembling it, it looks just like the picture. The instructions are made up of pictures and have few words that are written in broken-English, but are easy enough to understand once you realize they show you how to put together other, similar bookcases that are also made by this company. What I didn’t realize is that the bookcase is made up of four identical units that are stacked on top of each other. The nice part is that the placement of the shelves and units can be altered. So if you decide later on that you want to have the shelves slid over to create room for a taller object, or if you want to have two separate bookcases, you can easily do that. The only down side is once I stacked the top two units, I realized they weren’t exactly square with each other and I ended up using felt pads to make them look more level.
