We used it not only as a bookcase but even as a shelf for baby stuff in the nursery room. The installation was straightforward but it took 45 minutes for me alone. It is a two person job.

It looks excellent sitting in my bedroom. Great storage for my book, and the bars on the side help make sure nothing falls off. Wasn't the quickest to put together and there were metal shavings in the bags, but I had no issue taking my time to get it all right.

It looks so cheap and the sides of the shelves arrived cracked and bent.

This is a very sturdy yet stylish book shelf unit. The shelves look like real wood and seem really solid. The instructions were easy to follow (no text, only pictures) but be careful to make sure the holes for the back center cross brace are facing the back on each side piece.
