How easy to snap together!!! Solid. Sleek. Love it.

Looks good and perfect size but wish the wood finish of the desktop was smoother. Definitely no bare pencil to paper on this bumpy desktop.

Great desk, very solid. The top is bamboo which I love. It literally snaps together, super easy assembly.

The desk is okay, but the top is not smooth - it has an unfortunate fake "wood grain" texture. If you intend to actually write anything at any time (I mean, with say a pen and paper) you'll need a mat or something.

We bought this for our ten-year old son's room. It is the perfect size and was incredibly easy to assemble. The top has a wood grain so it's not great to write on, but this is not a flaw of the desk -- you will need to get something to put down to use it as a writing surface.
