I do love this set and it is a solid set, however the manufacturer does not take the time to package the items appropriately. The chairs were shipped in a cardboard box (already put together) with absolutely NO packing material to protect them. Surprisingly the chairs came undamaged. When the table came, the base was fine. The table top was the problem. It was shipped in a separate box from the base. The table top had very little packing material which resulted in me having to have 3 replacement tops delivered. The first top had a crack in the framing. The second top was broken all to pieces. The third top was broken. Finally, the fourth top came undamaged. This took about 3 months to finally be able to complete my set. Dealing with Wayfair was hit or miss through this process. A couple of times I was able to get someone on the phone who knew what they were doing. Other times, not so much. They did provide a 10% refund for all the trouble we had and did not require we try to send back all of the damaged table tops that were delivered. It did result in us having to make 3 trips to the dump to get rid of the damaged table tops which was frustrating. I have bought tons of furniture from Wayfair and this is the first time I have ever experienced this much trouble. Regardless, in the end I do love the set (as I also purchased the matching hutch), however Wayfair really needs to do a better job at requiring their manufacturers to ensure quality shipping after the first mishap.

First of all the item is not "Counter Height", nor was it ever advertised as such. The first delivery was made with a broken arm chair and two missing side chairs. Next I received the replacement arm chair but the missing 2 side chairs were not delivered until about 6 weeks later than the order......unacceptable when promised it would be in time for Christmas. The product is great....solid, well constructed and very attractive. It was also very expensive. The table needed assembly and it was impossible to do alone.....but heavy is good, right? I was told to hold on to the broken chair for 2 weeks while they decided what to do....had to leave it on the front porch in it's BIG box - very unsightly during the holidays. Then I had to call to find out they wouldn't pick it up after all!! I could have donated it long before if there had been decent communication. Great product - very poor delivery and handling and poor communication.

I love this chair. The color grey is a powdery, light grey. The chair is sturdy and well made. I suggest this chair to anyone interested in it.
