Table basse à piédestal

Looks just as shown. Marble top is very heavy so need another person to help assemble- good material and clean look

The coffee table arrived promptly on the estimated date. It was delivered inside my residence for no extra charge. It came very well packed. It looked much like the picture. No surprises there. The bottom stainless steel base is one assembled piece. The top marble is a separate piece. It was pretty heavy. It would be best if 2 persons lift it. The top marble sits on a rim with 4 screws attaching it to the base. Nothing really fancy, but does the job of holding it in place. Once assembled, it cant be easily moved around. The only part where I was dissatisfied was, the marble top, doesn't seem to be real marble, it is something else. In less than a MONTH's time, it got chipped from another furniture hitting it. Underneath the chipped piece it looks like a heavy aluminum sheets with some glossy coating. I'm hoping it doesn't chip anymore. If it is not marble, I'm not paying $700 for this coffee table. But, I was happy about the way it fit into my décor.
