Table basse Chassidy

Nice for the money. Light weight. Assembly very easy. Disappointed in quality of top. Coloring is very dull

I originally purchased the table because it was the only one I could find that would fit in the area I needed it for. Once I opened the box and took the stuff out to put it together I noticed how very rough the top was. Feels like there is no protection put on it, its rough and if a wet glass was to be put on it the water would just seep in and leave a stain. Since it was the only option I had because of size I decided to keep it and fix it myself. I purchased wood protector prestain and a Honey color Stain and refinished it myself. I also put 2 coats of Satin Clear Coat for protection. Since I was already working on it I put a light coat of off white chalk paint on the base to give it a more distressed look. I'm pleased with the way it looks now but feel the price was too high for an unfinished product.

Disappointed with top of table. It may be solid wood but it appears to be laminated. The top layer is buckling as if it had moisture damage. For the price, it should have been a heavier piece if wood. The finish is rough and does not appear to have any protective finish applied. So soft and porous that I’m worried that it will stain easily.

So excited to receive this product and so quickly! However, I’m only giving 4 stars. Unfortunately it did not come with all the necessary hardware to put it together and I will need to go purchase 3 bolts tomorrow in order to put it together.

Cute table, but lacking on quality. Not very solid and the base started cracking when putting in the screws while putting it together.
